SAP Support Team Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SAP Support Team Coordinator to lead and manage a team of SAP professionals, including functional consultants, ABAP developers, and BASIS consultants. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless collaboration, efficient issue resolution, and the delivery of high-quality SAP support services to meet business requirements and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:
    • Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the SAP support team (functional consultants, ABAP developers, BASIS consultants).
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
    • Facilitate a collaborative and productive work environment.
  2. Operational Management:
    • Monitor and prioritize support requests, ensuring timely issue resolution.
    • Assign tasks and responsibilities based on team expertise and workload.
    • Develop and maintain support processes and SLAs to ensure consistent service delivery.
  3. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for SAP support-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
    • Provide regular updates on support activities, issue resolutions, and system performance.
    • Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and ensure alignment with SAP solutions.
  4. Problem-Solving and Escalation Management:
    • Coordinate root cause analysis and resolution of complex SAP issues.
    • Escalate critical issues to higher management or external vendors when necessary.
  5. Project Support:
    • Assist in SAP system upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations.
    • Collaborate with the team to test and validate system changes.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Ensure proper documentation of support processes, configurations, and resolutions.
    • Prepare and present reports on system performance, support activities, and team metrics.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing SAP support teams or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules
  • Excellent leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Skills:

  • SAP certification in one or more modules is an advantage.
  • Experience in managing SAP projects or implementations.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks for IT service management.
